2010.03.02/New Pieces

The new plus series cups that I introduced last entry came out of kiln today. I think they are good!! Also small plate with plus mark came out and I found cracks on the lip. It happens when I polish on the surface but it doesn't show before the firing. I need to figure out how not to get cracks..

前回のエントリーで紹介した新しいプラスシリーズのカップ達が窯からあがってきました。いい出来だと思います！しかし、内側にプラスマークのはいった小皿の口に、数カ所ヒビを見つけました。それは、表面を磨く時に必要以上の圧がかかり、本焼きの前には目に見えていないのだけど、やっぱりでてきてしまったのです。。。なんとかヒビの入らない方法をみつけなくっちゃです。
